Kuria Table

by Nama-d Studio

Table (noun) "A piece of furniture with a flat top and one or more legs, providing a level surface for eating, writing, or working at."

Kuria table arises from a conceptual investigation and reconsideration of the conventional definition of "table". The aim is to emphasize the essential element of the table, the horizontal plane. In this way, all secondary elements are removed and its main component becomes the table in its entirety. The horizontal plane is conceptually folded and becomes both the vertical and horizontal structural function, giving a unitary solution.
